JELD-WEN/SWEDOOR IS LOOKING FOR A CENTRAL PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Central Product Specialist is a technical role which requires strong product knowledge, documentation and project management and good communication skills, to ensure daily tasks and multiple projects are completed on time and to the necessary quality and standards.

Responsibilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:


•Gather and maintain product and technical information.
•Create product specifications.
•Secure that product information is up to date.
•Analyze current products to identify product differences, standardizations and cost reduction potentials.
•Coordinate and lead the product change request and implementation process.
•Project management in R&D area projects.
•Make product trainings for the organization.

Required profile:

The position is full time and based in Forserum (Sweden) and working closely with team in different countries. You will be part of the Europe R&D team where in Northern Europe are 15 team members. (seven located in Forserum, four in Astorp, one in Denmark, Finland and in Estonia) and you report to the R&D High Performance Group Sr Manager (located in Estonia).

Background and personal qualities:

You have either relevant work experience, at least 2-3 years, within the building material industry and/or graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering. 
We require a very good technical understanding.

You have good skills in computer Office 365, SolidWorks and ePDM, project management. 
Furthermore, you can express yourself fluently, both orally and in writing, your English and Swedish skills are very good.

As a person you are detailed-oriented, organized and a team player. 
You think strategically, have good problem solving skills and a proactive approach. You do also have the ability to multitask, excellent in time management and have a good interpersonal communications skills.
