Your Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
This operationally-focused position is a full-time role based at Coherent´s facility in Järfälla, Monday to Friday. Aside from some mandatory meetings and a few other obligations, there is the possibility of flexible working hours, but you are expected to be on-site between 08:45 and 16:00.
The desired commencement date for this role is as soon as the right person is available to begin. We work with ongoing selection and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.

Your Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Responsible for managing Wafer Start, Wafer EPI priority planning, and the Wafer Production outsourcing schedule.
- Review the agreed S&OP schedule and plan wafer production, considering customer requirements (internal and external), finished goods inventory, and WIP targets.
- Regularly update the production schedule using Oracle and MES, ensuring it´s on target, and flagging potential delays promptly.
- Oversee the release of New Products (NPI) and assess their impact on production.
- Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and process capacities required to meet the production schedule.
- Ensure the Wafer Operations Department is informed of the production schedule.
- Take ownership of any issues affecting the production schedule and fully manage them to a swift resolution.
- Manage and implement actions to improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance metrics.
- Review past performance to drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a backup for the Planning Manager.

- Possess experience in a similar role from a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Place strong focus on customer satisfaction, for both internal and external customers.
- Are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Word and ERP.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
