Service Technician
Are you our next Nordic Service Technician?
Do you like to travel? Are you a problem-solver that enjoy meeting customers?
Responsibilities
We are looking for our next Service Technician for the Nordic district (Scandinavia, Baltic, Island, Greenland) that will be responsible, together with the Service Manager and four other Service Technicians, for managing all planning and execution of service at our customers. This includes understanding customer requests, identifying parts needed (together with the spare parts team). It is a lot of external contact but also with your JBT colleagues. You will travel frequently in this position, between 60-70% per year, including weekends (up to 40 weekends/year). You will therefore have much of your time off in the weeks instead.
Main tasks in this position are primarily to carry out inspections, service, repair, and rebuilding existing equipment at customer site and to trouble shoot. One important part is also to give technical support by phone or email to your colleagues and customers as well as train them in maintenance, operation, safety and cleaning. To be successful at this we believe that you are flexible and enjoy travelling as well as solving problems. You are driven and self-motivated, like to meet new people and achieving results. As our Customer Care team are on a journey to grow and our vision is to take the team to the next level, we would like you to be a part of this and grow with us!
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we would like you to have an education within a technical field or equivalent work experience, and experience from a similar position. Work requires both mechanical and electrical skills. You need to have a driving license. As you will travel to different countries and communicate with your colleagues around Europe it is a requirement that you speak English. If you have any additional language skills, we will be very happy since we are an international company.
We offer you the opportunity to work in an established international and fast-growing company. It is important for us to create opportunities for our colleagues for personal development and a work environment where individual initiatives are valued. We have strong focus on continuous development and improvement, and always together as a team.
We welcome you to apply by sending us your CV and a short presentation of yourself. Press the Apply button to begin your application. This position may be filled before the application deadline. Please note that we do not handle applications sent by email.
