Software Development Manager - Public Safety

You will be a part of the software development process for mission critical operations such as Emergency Response (112) or Search and Rescue. Your employees will explore and implement new technologies, new functionality, refactor/evolve our architecture to run on containers and move into the cloud.

As our Software Development Manager you will:
  • Lead a software development team which is exploring and implementing new technologies, new functionality, refactoring/evolving our architecture to run on containers and move into the cloud.
  • Work with the development teams to ensure that our solutions are systemized and implemented in the best way.
  • Be a mentor, ensure knowledge management, contribute to initiatives, improve processes and performance within own group using agile methodology.
  • Implementation of the development process.
  • Coordinate competency development and training of technical resources within the team.
  • Lead continuous improvements
Your matching strengths for our role are:
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
  • Line manager competence (such as labor laws etc.)
  • Relevant technical background.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Good knowledge of software development processes.
  • Humble and team focused, passionate about developing your team members by mentoring/coaching them.
  • Full proficiency in Swedish and English (both speaking and writing).
  • Swedish citizenship.
  • Experience in leading continuous improvements and development of software system solutions are a plus.
