Supply Planner

We are looking for new colleague in the role as Supply Planner. Joining the Business Planning & Supply Chain team at our new offices in Gothenburg, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure that our production plants are equipped for success and contribute to our growth!

YOU WILL
We are responsible for creating and delivering valid & achievable supply plans within the Natural Resources and Surfactants Product Line (amines & alkox) as the plans must be reconciled to the overall supply strategy, balanced to capabilities in the supply chain and responsive to customer needs. As a Supply Planner, you will have many exciting tasks and responsibilities. Your duties include developing and maintaining inventory stocking policies to ensure top-notch safety stock levels and collaborating with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the plans.

Some other tasks and responsibilities are:

• Work collaboratively with Demand Management to ensure effective demand and supply balancing within the short- and medium-term horizon.
• Support Marketing, Product Management and R&D on supply planning concerning product introductions.
• Maintain SAP and Arkieva (IBP/S&OP software) master data relevant for the supply and inventory planning.
• Actively drive improvement of planning/scheduling related activities; manage specific supply planning projects.

This role is a temporary position for one year due to a parental leave, but with good possibilities for further employment since we are investing a lot within this area.

YOU ARE
As the ideal candidate, you are an analytical team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Your attention to detail and being result focused allows you to deliver quality work consistently and efficiently while being process driven. To have strong communication skills is important as you will be expected to communicate with all functional levels within the business. You also possess self-directed abilities that allow for proactive project management without direct input or guidance.

We also see that you have:

• Solid understanding of supply chain and business processes with minimum 4-5 years of documented experience of supply planning.
• Excellent data analysis skills are required to effectively validate trends and make forecasts - highly advantageous is knowledge of Power BI or APICS CPIM certification.
• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Experience with IBP/S&OP and experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system) and Arkieva (or equivalent S&OP/advanced planning software).
• Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
