Sustainability coordinator / responsible material specialist

Job Description

For our client we are looking for a Sustainability Coordinator / Responsible Material Specialist.
In this role you will be a part of our client's Sustainability Program team. A newly established team of 3 people. Highly integrated into the global sustainability team.

You will coordinate the implementation of their sustainability targets and requirements within traceability and inclusion, including human rights and embedding responsible business conduct, in our client's vehicle programs. You will report directly to the Sustainability Program Manager.

Assignment description and main responsibilities:

• Turning the strategy into reality and create robust ways of working and processes for implementing more sustainable solutions.
• Secure targets, requirements, and validation plans for traceability and inclusion, including human rights and embedding responsible business conduct in the product development process.
• Find potentials to improve the performance of their vehicles relating to risk materials, and have the ability turn idea into reality.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with different internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish processes and methods to assess the impact of our client's vehicles related to risk materials.
• Capture data and information for communication about their vehicles.

Deliveries:

• Implement Traceability strategy into one of their current car programs.
• Lead taskforce.

Qualifications

• You have a relevant university degree within engineering or sustainability.
• You have experience in working with sustainability, preferably within traceability and/or responsible sourcing or human rights.
• You have experience in working in a global international environment, preferable working with China.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious: Experience from automotive industry.

Admission and Application

Full time position, 40h/week. The position will start in as soon as possible, and the assignment is expected to run for until 2024-03-25 with possibility of extension.
