For our client, we are looking for a simulation engineer who will work on optimizing and further developing the powertrain.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be part of a team working to develop and optimize the powertrain for the company's various vehicles. The optimization primarily focuses on the internal combustion engine and is based on various parameters such as drivability, fuel consumption, or dynamics that vary depending on the current project. As a simulation engineer, you will play a central role in shaping future concepts by conducting simulation studies in different phases and then proposing changes based on the results of these simulations.
The work is diverse, and your daily tasks will vary depending on the simulation project you are currently working on. The team consists of senior engineers and operates with a high level of self-leadership, providing you with a flexible workday where you have significant control over your own time.
Who are we looking for?
Master’s degree in engineering, preferably within physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, high performance computer systems or similar.
ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT:
This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at the client company.

Who are we looking for?
Master’s degree in engineering, preferably within physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, high performance computer systems or similar.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge in control theory, vehicle dynamics and physics.
- Experience from Matlab, Simulink and Python.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Problem solving and initiative-taking-
- Analytical with the ability to process complex information.
- Flexible and communicative.
