ABOUT THE POSITION:
Avinode is a marketplace to buy and sell charter online. Every year, Avinode processes around 4.5 million trip searches and 6 million trip requests. Avinode was created back in 2002 to answer a straightforward problem: operators had empty planes and brokers had clients that wanted to fly. And yet there was no real-time online marketplace where these two groups could explore and buy eachother’s services. Avinode revolutionized the industry by bringing it online and are also at the technological forefront of the shift to the online booking of private air charter. The web apps and APIs implemented by our customers see around 2 million searches per year and growing.
As a Fullstack Developer at Avinode, you will participate in the development of Avinode's products: Avinode, Paynode and Schedaero. You will work in a cross functional agile team to continuously learn and deliver product value and the role focuses on leveraging best practices in continuous integration and delivery, mainly working with Java and React.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The must-haves:
- Relevant educational background, e.g. computer science or software engineering
- Skills in Java and React
- Professional software development experience, preferably with web-based products
- Verbal and written English
- Experience handling legacy code
- Verbal and written Swedish
- Problem solving and initiative-taking
- Flexible and communicative
- A strong sense for inner drive and responsibility
