As a support engineer you will work in close collaboration with our customers, to provide support for the use of our products and services. You will be in communication with IT Administrators, Network Engineers, CIOs, CSOs as well as our internal Deployment and Development teams.
- Facilitate software deployment in a customer environment and troubleshoot remote installation of the product
- Provide other services such as software training and software migrations to new hardware
- Develop professional written and oral presentation as well as other documentation to build up our public customer knowledge base
- Work with support case management to ensure Appgate delivers top support services
You have experience from working with customers in a technical service-oriented position. Enjoy problem solving and have good commercial sense when communicating with customers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience configuring, supporting, and managing the following areas:
- Networking Operations - TCP and UDP, and NAT
- Knowledge of packet “sniffer” or protocols capture utilities like Wireshark and TCP dumps
- Routing Protocols
- VPN Technologies - IPsec, SSL, Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN
- Authentication Protocols - LDAP, SAML, Radius, MFAs
