About the Talent program
Jeppesen is now starting a talent program – "Earn Your Wings", together with Sigma Young Talent.
We are looking for thirteen highly motivated young talents who have a deep technical interest to join the Jeppesen talent program, which will last for twelve months. During the talent program, you will get a deep insight into Jeppesen products, and you will learn about agile methods, programming and working in scrum teams.
During the program, you will have a dedicated mentor and also get the opportunity to get to know the whole company and broaden your perspective by working in different departments. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in a project that will be presented to the Jeppesen management team before your program exam. During your time at Jeppesen you will combine work within your scrum team and the young talent program. For the talent program we are looking for newgrads who want to work with algorithms, Java, C++, C, Optimization, Python, and Linux.
When you apply to the program there are a number of different roles and teams to apply for; GUI, optimization, web and mobile, platform, Customer Service Support and software customization engineer.
Apply for the Software Platform engineering teams
To the software platform engineering team, we are looking for two talented C++ developers with a true interest in the art of software engineering and craftsmanship together with a DevOps mindset.
You will be part of a highly qualified and experienced team developing the platform for our market leading solutions.
We strive to have strong and empowered teams that takes full responsibility and get the needed support from our release trains and management, where communication and collaboration are essential in order to be successful.
The platform is mainly implemented in C++ and the OS is Linux. Python and Java are also used when writing test cases and in communication upstream and downstream in the solutions.
Who are You?
You most likely have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, or similar.
Technical challenges and solving problems truly excites you. You have a deep interest in programming and especially in C++, Java and Python. Curiosity in Linux, databases and data modelling is of high value.
We also think you are driven, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. You enjoy working in teams to solve complex problems and you see possibilities, where other see obstacles.
