In this position, you will prepare, lead, execute and deliver best in class CAPEX projects, safe within defined scope, schedule, budget and dedicated quality. You are expected to take owner's role, bringing value to the business with accountability and doing it right the first time for the CAPEX part of an assigned capital investment.
Other tasks and areas of responsibility are to:
- Select, lead and develop the multifunctional project team
- Apply and adhere to Nouryon's project management methodology
- Provide input for the project's Appropriation Request (AR) and sign off for execution
- Ensure compliance to company directives
- In the Initiation and Study Phase (FEL-1 and FEL-2) project manager's responsibility is in the consultant role and ensures endorsement and approval of the handed over engineering package by the business/site representative
We are looking for a person with the ability to work in an inclusive way in the engineering community. A Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical and/or process engineering or related disciplines is required for this position. We also expect you to have proven and senior project management skills for capital investments of up to 50 Mio Euro. Relevant and proven experience from multidisciplinary engineering and project environments, exposure to multiple locations, cultures and/or companies is a plus. Communication skills in English both verbal and convincing presentation skills are required. For this position there must be an ability to travel for about 6 to 8 weeks/year in the Nordics area, project related.
