The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation of your experience to managers, colleagues and other summer interns. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. What you will do
Markets Sales in Gothenburg is a sales team of eight persons. We serve our clients with financial advisory and trading in foreign exchange, fixed income and commodities. Our customer base ranges from large Swedish corporates to the retail segment and also includes financial institutions and internal customers.
As a summer intern at Market Sales you will take an active role in servicing our customers as well as internal stakeholders. Following the macroeconomic development and the regional deal flow will be one of your tasks as well as providing business insights to the team and proactively support our sales efforts.
Who are you?
You are an outgoing and driven person with a genuine interest in financial markets. You are creative, show initiative and are a good team-player. Strong analytical skills, an ability to focus on details and structure are important in this role.
You have studied a year or more at university level preferably Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Economics. The job is customer centric and therefore requires that you are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and with a service mindset. Above average knowledge in Microsoft Excel is a merit.
