Support engineer

Bluetest is growing, and we are now looking for a talented support engineer who will join our engineering team. You will work in close interaction with all departments of the organization, including field engineers, sales, production and R&D. You will be responsible for coordinating our global support organization and making sure customers and colleagues around the world get the help they need. The work is located in our headquarters in Gothenburg.

At Bluetest you will
  • Become an expert of the next generation of wireless systems before they are even launched
  • Support leading tech companies around the world
  • Help forming a scalable support organization
  • Build workflows, processes and tools for efficient support work
  • Become a member of the Bluetest engineering community with software, hardware and RF experts in Sweden, the United States and China
We believe that you have
  • A BSc in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience working with technical support
  • Excellent communication skills, and interest in building and maintaining good relations
  • Passion for leading technical investigations, debugging and troubleshooting
  • Experience using a Linux/POSIX environment
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits
  • Excellent skills in English, written and spoken
Possible experience in (no requirement)
  • Writing technical reports
  • Python and/or shell script programming
  • Product test and verification work
  • Fluency in other languages is highly appreciated and Chinese, Japanese or Korean are true assets
