Job description

We at Randstad Life Sciences are currently looking for laboratory engineers with a life science background for future full-time consultant positions.

The scope of the initial assignment varies depending on the client and the assignment. As this is an "open advertisement" to cover future assignments, we have not set yet an assignment length, but the average assignment length is 6 months. Many positions are lab-based, where you will acquire competencies for independent work in an industrial environment. This could include experimental execution, data analysis and presentation, securing compliance within the assigned area, risk assessments and cross discipline work. Experience from working within the GMP laboratory environment is a plus.  

Responsibilities

  • Execute, present and routinary tests and analyses in the laboratory.                                  
  • Ensure the correct lab equipment is utilized, maintained and calibrated    
  • Follow quality standards and GMP guidelines               
  • Take responsibility for instruments including maintenance and reporting of eventual problems.                 
  • Cooperation with internal / external suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or MSc degree  in chemistry, material science, life science or similar       
  • Two years experience within relevant laboratory work  
  • Experience of laboratory work in a GMP regulated lab environment
  • Experience in chemical analysis, especially chromatography methods, wet chemical methods are also of great merit
  • Experience of validation or qualification of chemical methods is highly advantageous
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English

It is also important that you are open to try new roles and that you easily adapt to new situations.
