Regional Sales Manager, Scandinavia

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities in an assigned territory including existing applications with existing customers as well as new and existing applications with new customers. The most important tasks for this position will be to maximize Sales Revenue, optimize profit, and to manage Development Resources and Customers. You will optimize the sales process and eliminate any non-profitable activities while recognizing price increase potential in other activities. As a Regional Sales Manager you will often work with project engineering to prioritize and progress all customer driven developments that meet project criteria. This position requires travelling.

Qualifications; To be a fitting candidate for this position, you will have a Bachelors degree, or equivalent training and/or experience with focus on business, engineering or a related field. The position requires at least 3 years previous sales experience in an advanced role; further experience within marketing or field services is preferable. Experience from sales within the Life Science area is a merit since the company has most of its customers within the medical sector. Also experience working fon a manufacturing company in medical healthcare promoting products in a Supplier-OEM relationship. We would also see that the right person has an advanced knowledge of product development, manufacturing, and new product launch processes with stable work history showing increased responsibility and professional growth.

Knowledge or prior experience from working with CRM tools, and preferably Sales Force, is a plus. You possess computer literacy and are used to handling Microsoft Office products. A full professional proficiency in Swedish or Scandinavian and English is needed.

Since the position contains frequent travelling, an ability to be flexible, structured and to manage your time will be essential. You need to have demonstrated ability to persuade and influence others, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. You also have a proven track record of successfully increasing territory sales volumes on a consistent and sustained basis. The qualified applicant will have a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You will have a home-based office and report to the head office in Aachen, Germany.
