Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco Industrial Technique looking for two field application engineers.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work, and the request from Atlas Copco Industrial Technique is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work. Chosen candidates will meet with HR and recruiting Manager at Atlas Copco directly.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Atlas Copco Industrial Technique.

As Field Application Engineer, you will get the opportunity to work globally with the latest and most exciting happenings within Atlas Copco. In short, your mission will be to drive and increase our customer satisfaction. You will get the chance to see the insides of your customers brands through the product you are working with. This will include meeting and understanding your customers needs to be the interface between development and end-user. But before you begin to find your feet, you will start to work with C++ programming, and gradually take on new responsibilities.

To meet the customers needs, you will not only work with your ten colleagues in your team in Nacka, you will also collaborate with our offices around the world. And as our new product generation was launched this year, your assignment involves working in a multicultural environment with international colleagues. Naturally, this will provide you with worldwide travels and great development opportunities within the whole organization.

Holds a Master of Science in Engineering, along with specialization in Electronics, Data or Mechatronics. Besides this, you have a strong understanding of systems as well as of the combination between software and electronics.

To succeed in this important role, you need three to five years experience from working with software development. Preferably within an international company as this job requires you to be fluent in English, both written and spoken alike. Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin or German are beneficial.

As this is a customer-focused position, you need the ability to build relationships and trust among your customers. Obviously, it is important that you fully enjoy meeting new people as well as having confidence and networking skills. You also need to communicate in a professional way and understand our company as a whole. As you will work globally it is important for you to also enjoy operating in other cultures.
