Scania Sustainable City Solutions (SCS) plan, develop and implement a city transportation system comprising both people and goods. We are taking future technological development into consideration when creating today's solution. Solutions are based on locally produced alternative fuels including electrification. This means energy self-sufficient cities with fully connected door to door concepts to improve quality of life for the City's inhabitants and increase attractiveness for investors.

Scania Sustainable City Solutions (SCS) focus on people when developing tomorrow´s society. We are counsellors for strategy and analysis from planning to implementation. Our focus areas are urban planning, traffic planning, regional development and infrastructure. These areas influence people´s everyday existence and constitute the basis for a high degree of functionality in society.

Urbanisation is increasing and cities are growing which will affect both cities and the city surroundings. By using state of the art connectivity solutions we will reduce congestion and noise, improve air quality and logistics (including waste handling). We will help our customers to plan for a sustainable future.


Your main responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze the market for Scania Sustainable City Solutions
  • Position Scania’s solutions among opinion leaders
  • Build relationships with key actors in the field
  • Secure feedback on market needs to product management within Scania
  • Forecast/pipeline management of contracts
  • Acquire and secure contracts
  • Manage the Business Development and KAM Team by establishing account strategies and deal tactics
Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an Academic degree and extensive experience from Business Development and Sales, preferably from the transport solution field. We expect you to be customer oriented, strategic, driven and self-motivated. You understand the financial principals of business development and sales and you enjoy solving customer challenges in order to find better solutions. You have good knowledge about the city transportation market and trends within this area.

You need to be fluent in English and Swedish.
