Visma Research & Development department (R&D) drives Visma's technological innovation in areas that shape the future of international business systems. Do you have a genuine interest in software development? We work in small teams on a project basis collaborating with various other development teams, resellers, and customers across the international organization. You will play an important role balancing new development with maintenance of the existing release. Our goal is high quality software delivered to our customers. We are looking for a proactive and self-driven person with a passion for software development.

  • Front-end and back-end development of a C# application
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Participate in architecture, design and code reviews
  • Maintain good code quality
  • Design, implementation and testing of solutions
  • Keeping up-to-date on new technologies, methods and tools
  • Participate in our Scrum processes and other team activities
Qualifications and skills

We are looking for a person with good software development experience who meets several of the following expectations:
  • Master or Bachelor degree in computer science
  • Being a skilled and experienced C# developer
  • Genuinely interested in technology with focus on open standards, systems integration, web services/SOA
  • Genuine interest in coding and the intricacies of software engineering methods, design patterns and modelling
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Interest in software engineering methods, design patterns and modelling
  • Good spoken and written English
Additional skills:
  • C++ knowledge (some of the legacy code is in C++)
  • Virtual machines
  • Build process
  • Experience with user directories and user authentication
