The Role

Icomera is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to primarily focus on the strategic, integrated sales opportunities with our clients in France. The role will require the successful candidate to travel, mainly in France and Europe. This role is hands on and you will be expected to get down to the details and be prepared to complete various tasks that are required.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Represent Icomera and build a relationship with direct customers, Sales Partners and subcontractors, mainly in France
  • Lead the technical aspect of new bid proposals, including the creation of the solution design, creating detailed equipment lists, resource estimates both from internal departments and external partners
  • Providing engineering expertise to the sales force during bids and the start of delivery projects
  • Collecting and analyzing requirements
  • Creating and updating design documents such as system overview diagrams, solution description, bill-of-material, components' specifications and cost estimates
  • Supporting the sales force and partners with technical expertise on Icomera products and solutions
  • Attending technically focused Sales meetings
  • Supporting customers, partners and the sales force with technical issues
  • Providing customer input and trends to the development team
  • Training partners and customers in the use of Icomera's products
  • Evaluate third party products and solutions for use in Icomera's standard offering
We believe you:
  • Have a bachelor degree in IT, Computing or Networking
  • Have Linux experience
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience from Sales Engineering
  • Have a passion for network technology
  • Are fluent in French and English, both oral and written
  • Enjoy travel
  • Enjoy a challenge
  • Enjoy interacting with customers to understand their issues, are experienced in capturing and documenting customer requirements, and have the ability to use their initiative and knowledge to propose suitable solutions
